My role was to color-correct and shade video outputs on 10+ broadcast studio cameras for a live student awards production. Since shading can be considered a least important aspect of live broadcast, I ensured that my department had the necessary time to white balance and was able to communicate to other departments when I saw potential issues. I took the time to train the fellow shaders and ran real-world scenarios for them to get used to various in-the-moment commands.
