The director wished that, while the scenery was very abstract – showing basic shapes and outlines, lighting and sound compliment each other to show the foreground of the scene. My sound design was realistic but also underscored the fantastical worlds the protagonist experienced: crossing the street, riding and disembarking the commuter train, border patrol
approaching.
